For the business portion of my trip, I stayed at the Hotel am Hallenbad (in
Ratingen, a suburb to the north of Düsseldorf).Next: Bus

The bedroom included a nice little desk and chair.
There was even a fireplace - with some flowers in it, to indicate that it is not to be used. [more]
The room came with a small TV, telephone, and electric fan.
The little lamp by my bedside was very handy for reading at night. [more]
All the hotels I visited had a small armoire like this for hanging up your clothes.
The bathroom was very large - I suspect they took two adjacent rooms and made one of them into the bathroom for the other.
The shower had of two sliding doors which met at the corner with a resounding Teutonic "click".
