The first annual BricksWest conference was held February 15-18, 2002. I brought several of my models down, including my Pokémon [pikachu, squirtle, intro, bulbasaur-internals, bulbasaur] and Teddy Bear sculptures, and my PB4Y-2 Privateer (the big blue airplane). I participated in a Sculptures and Mosaics panel, along with Eric Harshbarger and Henry Lim.

Bill Volbrecht, a Master Builder from the Legoland Model Shop, gave a presentation at the conference (Grand Pacific Palisades Hotel, across the street from Legoland) on Sunday. I then went to the park and toured Miniland and other park exhibits.
